Which class of food digest faster?

Carbohydrates digest faster than any other food followed by proteins. Fat and oil takes longest to digest.

Understand this please. I did not say you should eat carbohydrates more. Am just telling you the one that digest faster so you know the best to eat at night so it digest faster.

Eating fat and oil foods late at night will not digest quickly before going to bed, which will stress your organs.

Let your dinner be carbohydrates foods or protein foods so it digest faster quickly before sleeping.

If you want to eat fat and oil at night, then eat it early around 6pm-7pm so it digest before 10pm.Carbohydrates digest faster than any other food followed by proteins. Fat and oil takes longest to digest.

Drinking soft drinks regularly will affect your health later in life, it won’t start affecting you immediately but later in life.

Urine: And the dangers of drinking it.


I have done some research on urine therapy because many people usually take it, and some herbalist recommend it a lot.

As an health practitioner, I have always felt weird anytime I hear about drinking urine to cure sicknesses, and in my own views and studying of the human body, I have learnt that urine contains salt, bacteria, virus, and some other toxins.

When you sleep at night, your body clean itself by flushing out toxins through the urine, thatโ€™s why your morning urine looks dark in colour because it contains dirt and bacteria. But some herbalist encourages people to drink it, meaning you are drinking dirt and bacteria back to your body which causes problems.

Think of this; urine is a waste product of your body system and when you drink it, it means you are taking back the waste your body is throwing out.

So in other to confirm my thoughts, I did a research and read some articles on it, and it turns out that my suspension was right. Drinking urine is not right and dangerous to your health.

Some still claim that urine contains some nutrients like protein, calcium, potassium etc and that might be as a result of malabsorption or indigestion, but that doesnโ€™t mean you should drink it, there are foods, and herbs you can get those nutrients from.

A yellowish pigment called bilirubin is produced when red blood cells are broken down, it passes through the liver then excreted through the urine. When bilirubin levels are high it affects your blood, causes jaundice and can also lead to death. So drinking urine containing bilirubin will cause that.


In my last post, I talked about how I did research on urine therapy and was right about my suspension. In this post you will learn about the dangers of drinking urine.

1. It dehydrates you. Urine contains salt which will always make you feel thirsty.

Some researchers have found out that itโ€™s better not to drink anything than drinking urine when you are thirsty because it makes the sickness worse.

2. It contains bacteria and viruses that causes health challenges like infection, inflammation etc.

Some says that drinking only the middle urine is not harmful, but the first few drops athd the last few drops are dangerous.

I believe you donโ€™t need to go through that stress of drinking dirt, there are more better ways to treat yourself.

3. Cause kidney damage. The kidney is where your urine is filtered and sent to the bladder. So drinking tea urine that contains bacteria will damage the kidneys by causing kidney infection.

If you have been drinking urine please stop it now. Itโ€™s an herbalist recommendation, no doctor will ever recommend you tondo that.

4. It cause vomiting, diarrhea, and electrolytes imbalance.

Though some people still claim that it is harmless for people who drink water a lot, and might be true but I donโ€™t see it necessary to do.

Itโ€™s unhealthy and there are better ways to treat any illness.

5. Too much bilirubin in your blood stream. Bilirubin is a yellowish pigment which is produced when red blood cells are broken down.

This bilirubin passes the liver and is excreted through the urine. Drinking your urine means you are drinking back the bilirubin and high bilirubin in the blood causes jaundice (yellowish skin and eyes) which can lead to death.

I hope you now understand that drinking your urine is dangerous and can cause different health problems to you.

To know the amount of salt you injest daily multiply the amount of salt in the food you bought by 2.5. If you check the nutritional value at the back of any product you buy, it is written there so just multiple it by 2.5.

5. Potassium: Sources of potassium are mostly found in all foods especially fruits and vegetables.

6. Iron: Sources of iron are:

1. Liver
2. Milk
3. Red meat
4. Pulse
5. Green leafy vegetables
6. Nuts
7. Eggs
8. Dried fruits
9. Whole meal bread.

Iron should be consumed more by pregnant women, menstruating women and children. It is also essential for the formation of haemoglobin.

7. Iodine: Sources of iodine are:
1. Sea food
2. Vegetables grown in iodine rich soil.
3. Sea salt.

Iodine helps to prevent and treat goitre. It is essential for the formation of the two thyroid gland.

Lemon vs lime.


Both lemon and lime are citric fruits. But they have differences in which I will explain in this post.

Lime should not be taken often as lemon because it ct an dry you up, meaning it can make you too slim and cause other health challenges.

People looking to conceive and get pregnant should be careful when taking lime. Itโ€™s not too good for women.
Take lemon instead.

Lime is more acidic than lemon. If you want detoxify your body system, the best choice is using lemon.

If you want your house to smell good then spray lemon water instead of lime water. If you want to preserve food or drinks make use of lime because it has more because it has more preservative properties.

So whatever you are using remember you should use it moderately, if you are using lime use it moderately, if you are using lemon use it moderately.
When you use things too much even though if that thing is good it can also cause problems when you are using it too much.
